Development Communications Network (DEVCOMS) on Tuesday, December 13th, 2016, held her 10th quarterly Civil Society-Media forum with the theme: Overcoming the challenges of maternal Death during recession in Nigeria in Lagos.
 
The event which marked the roundtable discussion among Civil Societies Organization, Media Organization and the Health Sector has in attendance the President, Resident Doctors at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), Dr Akinkunmi higlighting the various challenges faced by mothers and pregnant women and the possible solutions during the recession.
 
Vanguard Senior Staff, Mr Sola Ogundipe, facilitated the Idea Developing session for the CSOs and media personel in different innovative ways to write compelling stories for social and communal development which he tagged 'Solution Journalism'
