Media Forum in Plateau State instituted by the Development Communications Network and The challenge initiative (TCI) In a bid to drive media involvement in reducing maternal and child mortality.
Development Communications, The challege initiative and  Plateau State Media Action for Family Planning under the auspices of Plateau State Primary Health Care Board visited Township and Dogon Agogo Primary Health Care centres in Jos North local government area of the state for advocacy.

DevComs and NURHI take Family Planning Advocacy to the Media

No fewer than 23 media houses in Zaria, Ibadan, Kaduna, Ilorin, Abuja and Benin have been visited during the Family Planning Media Advocacy visits embarked upon recently by Development Communications Network (DevComs) and Nigerian Urban Reproductive Health Initiative (NURHI).

The visits were aimed at strengthening partnership with the media in order to give more attention to issues relating to family planning and using the media as a medium to deepen and increase public understanding of family planning services and commodities.
