Media Forum in Niger State instituted by the Development Communications Network and The challenge initiative team arrived at model clinic, paiko at paikoro local government in Niger State on the 19th of May, 2020. The team were welcomed by Mrs Marcus Sarah, the family planning provider in the facility.

Mrs Sarah Marcus Introduced the team to other health workers in the facility and also told the team the services rendered by the clinic, methods used and procedures involved in becoming a patient at the facility.

Advocacy Field Trip to Primary Health Care Center, Maikunkele

Media Forum in Niger State instituted by the Development Communications Network and The Challenge Initiative (TCI) team  arrived Maikunkele Primary Health Care in Bosso Local Government Area of the state on the 19th of May, 2020. The team was welcomed by the Health workers at the facility and Mrs Hadiza Hassan was introduced to the team as she was to guard the team through their visit.

Media Forum in Niger State instituted by the Development Communications Network and The Challenge Initiative (TCI) team arrived at the clinic on April 2nd 2020,they were welcomed by the Second in charge of the Family Planning Unit at the Clinic, Madam Hassana M. Hussani. She briefed the team on Family planning methods. She listed Some contraceptive methods.

Group trains journalists on dissemination of family planning information

Media advocacy training in Niger State instituted by the Development Communications Network and The Challenge Initiative (TCI) organised a three-day training for journalists on effective dissemination of information on family planning.
The training, held in Minna on Thursday, had participants drawn mainly from government owned media organisations in Niger State.

The participants also include Information officers, social media influencers and correspondents from the print, radio and television media.
